Florida State Parks
Branding | Design | Animation
I had the opportunity to work with the amazing people at the Florida Department of Environmental Protections on rebranding the Florida State Parks System. This project really was a dream come true. As someone who grew up in Florida, and frequented many state parks with my family and friends, I feel an immense sense of pride in how the work turned out. However, this work would not have been nearly as good without the input and expertise of the whole design team at BowStern.
Brand Guide
Here are a couple important pages from the brand guide. My awesome creative director Jeremy Spinks had a heavy hand in making this turn out amazing. We really put a lot of thought and effort into making the brand meaningful, and making sure the guidelines worked for the everyday designers for Florida State Parks.

Logo Animation Process
The logo animation was drawn by hand. I really wanted it to have a rough and real feeling to it. I studied a lot of panther walking anatomy, drew and colored each frame.
Campfire Stories
This was a logo and handout I designed to be given out at park entrances. A visitor would visit the link on their phone, and have access to a bunch of campfire stories they could listen to.
